[Tribe.net: Apple Computer] I don't have quark, but many apps have two sets of preferences, some in the location described above, and some in /Library/Preferences. If your main hard drive is called "Macintosh HD" then it would be in Macintosh HD->Library->Preferences->com.quark....

Iris: Image Editing Without Palettes
[MacApper] This is a great way to get avoid extra windows and it makes it very easy to switch between pictures. The tools are pretty basic to most image editors and you can access more by holding your mouse button on some of the icons.

From Google Docs to InDesign
[Google Blogoscoped] The first trick was getting the HTML files out of Google Docs. For this, I wrote a simple module (GDoc.pm) that could authenticate itself to Google and request a zipped Google document, which includes the HTML file and images.

Sony announces HVL-F58AM flagship flash unit

iPhone and Flash Lite 3 port: A technical analysis
[Flash Enabled Mobile and Consumer Devices] iPhone technical spec web site boasts upto 30 fps performance for h.264 (mind you the web site says “upto”- which implies that “not to exceed”). There is also a guess that it supports OpenGL and hardware assisted mpeg decode.Flash Lite can be enhanced to take advantage of the hardware acceleration, so this is a plus from Flash point of view.
