[Midlife Crisis | Midlife Crisis blog, honoluluadvertiser.com | Honolulu, Hawaii] Midlife Crisis | Midlife Crisis blog, honoluluadvertiser.com ...: Remember the Brownie cameras from back then, you had to roll the film onto the take up reel and the flash bulbs that you had to replace after each use? I also had a camera that looked like one that a spy would use….a slender rectangular camera where you pushed one end to activate the shutter.

[Comic Pants] Comic Pants » Pants Stampede 10/6/08: I am hoping that the groundwork is being laid for Supergirl to be a fun book about a super hero teen girl and her life, but with a billion-part crossover on the horizon and Gates getting the job through friendship with Action Comics writer Johns, it doesn’t look like this will be anything but a continuity-heavy, hokey sounding book until it gets canceled or someone who can write teenage girls (or at least knows what they want to read about) comes on the book.

[Fanatical Apathy] Fanatical Apathy · Let’s Cheer Each Other Up: Considered phoning this news flash in to our local excuse for television station. But because I wasn’t involved a grisly multi-car accident (with lots of emergency vehicles and a closed highway), their news director wouldn’t be at all interested.

[Bad Wax] The Definitive Collection (Baseball Edition) - 1976 Willie ...: Why is This Card a Must Have?: Simply put, it’s because I’m a Yankee fan.  What I liked about Willie, was the lack of flash.  He simply came to work every day and got a hit or two when you needed it the most.  I actually had forgotten that he came up with the Pirates.  He was part of the trade that included Doc Ellis and Ken Brett (George’s brother) to the Yankees for Doc Medich.  He did have a very solid career, where he had over 2200 hits, 6 All Star appearances, and a Silver Slugger award.  The one thing he never had was pop.  He averaged about 7 homers a season, stole about 15 bases a season, and hit about 0.276.  Sounds boring, but he defensive ability was outstanding .  What’s interesting is that 3 of his top ten in comparisons on Baseball Reference are in the Hall of Fame.  Willie doesn’t deserve to be there, but it does put him in with some elite company.

[Unexplained Mysteries] Unexplained Mysteries :: Man claims to heal through aura imaging: Csanki began to do some research and found a company called Aura Imaging Systems, which helps people see what he says he can see already: auras and their healing properties. "What the machine does is a significant improvement over psychic ability -- improvement in a way you can show your clients what is happening with their auras,"

[Untitled] CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive ...: I was a Repulican for years- for a number of reasons: Lincoln was a Repulican, they "say" they are for individual rights and freedoms and small government- Sadly, however, I found republicans can argue about fiscal responsiility (and then spend like no others in American History)- they can claim they want democracy overseas (and yet support the repressive saudi arabian regime that supplied 15 of the 19 hi-jackers on 9/11- even osama himself and they even flew a bunch of saudis home secretly after 9-11) they freak out at the notion of re-distriution of wealth - but it all really boils down to the fact that they are racist and heartless- they see homeless people and think scum- they couldn't end over to help a brother in need in america- they love spewing hate and they will all tell you they are good christians- they are big 'ole hypocrites- I am sad that I was a republican and ought into all that hate of my fellow man- I am sorry Jesus for eing such a judgemental, bad person.

[Untitled] Got a Blog? Come Tell Us About It! - Neatorama: It’s blog about anything and everything, though I think the term “lifestyle” is probably most appropriate.

[Untitled] Midlife Crisis | Midlife Crisis blog, honoluluadvertiser.com ...: OK, it was bothering me so I continued to google and did find The Thin Man as both a series of movies with William Powell and a short run tv series starring Peter Lawford as the Thin Man, but the dog was not a Yorkshire but mostly a terrier of some kind. I probably watched the Thin Man b&w movies on late night tv many years ago.

[Untitled] Pajamas Media » Sandra Bernhard Gets Away with Racist Anti-Palin ...: (It) In fact, the play wears its politically VERY correct heart on its sleeve with its indictment of America as “A Man’s World, It’s a White Man’s World, It’s a F-ked Up White Man’s Racist World” and can only be suggested to be racist in its content if one is hell-bent on protecting White Folk for Sandra’s blistering indictment. When Sandra warns Sarah Palin not to come into Manhattan lest she get gang-raped by some of Sandra’s big black brothers, she’s being provocative, combative, humorous, and yes, let’s allow, disgusting.
