Show links to embedded media user script updated

[Browservulsel] I've updated the Greasemonkey user script which adds links to embedded media. You can now exclude media by extension and I've added some basic styling.

[untitled #3] Gargoyles was my introduction to intelligent cartoons and internet fandom, and hit me at an impressionable enough age to change my life. That Weisman is getting a chance to continue telling the stories he captivated me with over a decade ago pleases me on a level deeper than even Joss Whedon and his Serenity triumph can reach: somewhere inside me is a wide-eyed ten-year-old hyperventilating with glee.

FotoChatter, share photos from your camera phone

[TipMonkies] While photophiles are sharing their photograph collections on sites like Flickr and Shutterbook, many camera phone users are trying other options. Most people don’t carry their digital cameras around, but chances are, they do carry their camera phone (I know I do…EVERYWHERE).

Care and Feeding Tip 32 - Graphics tablet tip

[The PC Doctor » Here to help!] If you have a graphics tablet installed on your PC then make sure that they you’re not using it that the pan and any wireless mice that come with it are off the tablet surface - trying to navigate with the mouse when the tablet is interfering with the cursor is tricky and erratic and I’ve seen people driven mad by it.

[rants and ramblings] On the Web site, that same graphic didn't work quite as well. It was so large and detailed that, shrunk down to fit within the Web templates, the type was almost too small to read, not all of the graphic was visible at once and there was little contrast between the light-colored map and the white background.

Macromedia Flex 2.0 Alpha + Player 8.5 - problems

[Franto.com Flash blog] Macromedia launches http://labs.macromedia.com today I'm sure you already know this So go there and try it I've downloaded Flex Builder 2 for Eclipse as plugin (I didn't install standalone plugins from installer, just plugin to Eclipse 3.1) , it works of course, but i have no time for deeper look, so I just switch to my project in work and try to compile it in Flash IDE, guess what? I cannot compile it...

Shrink pictures online

[TipMonkies] Simply select the new size and submit a picture and it will resize it to whatever option you choose. It is a really simple thing to use and rather than having to load up your image software, you have easy access to this tool online.

Organum Playtest 3.0

[Generator.x: Software and generative strategies in art and design] Greg Niemeyer, Ryan Shaw, and Dan Perkel’s interactive sound installation/game Organum Playtest 3.0, currently in Banff at the “Art Formerly Known as New Media” exhibition, offers an interesting example of the relationship between sound, movement, space and bodies. The exhibition, curated by Steve Dietz and Sarah Cook, will be at the Walter Philips Gallery until October 23, 2005.

1001, the desktop Flickr client

[TipMonkies] Not only can you upload photos to your Flickr account directly from this application, but it will also inform you when new photos are added to any album to which you subscribe, whether it be a friend’s, a particular tag’s, or anyone on Flickr. SitePoint Mayhem Contest
