[The ZehnKatzen Times] We have updates for InDesign CS2 and InCopy CS2. These are point updates, and include all patches so far issued: it will take any version of either (InDesign 4 or InCopy 4-remember, "CS2" is a thing of marketing, not of actual versioning) and upgrade them to version 4.0.3.

Make Your Own Logo With Mikons

[Rooster’s Rail] I have been really frustrated lately due to the fact that Sebastian and I have struggled to either find or create a logo for Global Geek Podcast. I have even considered buying a logo but it would not be an original and it would not be exactly what we wanted.

Using InDesign Server with Flex

[Adobe Blogs] XMP is a method of stashing information into an Adobe document ( More information about XMP at http://www.adobe.com/xmp ) .In this case, it probably wouldn't be a good solution for storing this type of data.

Tutorials to learn how to make websites in flash in a hurry so I can impress my bosses and turn this internship into a real job

[Ask MetaFilter | Community Weblog] Short of converting the movie to still frames and importing those to the timeline, is there a quick way to get flash to insert keyframes in a movie? If I'm working at 25fps and have a movie encoded at the same frame rate and with key frames every 25 frames, why can't I get flash to show those key frames in the time line?

Adding fonts to OpenOffice.org 2.0 on MacOSX

[zeroKspot.com] You would love to use OpenOffice2.0 but the native NeoOffice is too slow and the X11 app has too ugly fonts for your taste? Well, at least for the latter there is a small workaround All that is needed are some additional TTFs.

Vista, Office, fonts, portability, and a different form of lock-in?

Part of the reason I cared was that when I was building techexplorer I had to know fonts, particularly math fonts, inside and out.

Widget Watch: CSS Tweak!

[The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)] CSS Tweak!, as you might imagine, can optimize and clean up your CSS code with the drag and drop of a file. The widget will report how much smaller your file is going to get, and its description states that your new file is "saved in the same location as the original", so I'm pretty sure this means it doesn't overwrite the original, but proceed (and backup!)
