HP’s new ads completely miss the mark

[ 1FPS] Unless they’re trying to invent a new UI from watching Hackers one too many times, these ads attempt to get the idea across that ‘you too can be this cool if you buy an HP computer that runs Windows’, but in the end they betray almost a feeling of embarrassment for an aging computing platform that lost any semblance of cool (or even relevance, I would argue) years ago.

Re-use your Illustrator style sheets

http://www.jdempsey.com [CreativeGuy] Once you’ve created Styles in an Illustrator document, you can use those styles in any other Illustrator document simply by going to either the Paragraph or Character Styles palette, clicking on the Options flyout menu and select Load All Styles. When the dialog box comes up, go to the original Illustrator file with the StyleSheet you want to use and select to open it.
