ExactImage 0.3.2 - Future Replacement for ImageMagick

[SoftSift - Reporting on the Latest Software Releases] ExactImage is an open source image processing library. Compared to other image processing library, such as imagemagick, this library enables image processing task to be speed up at least 10 times faster than the latter.

Open-source Photoshop

[Strategize] Unless you are an advanced user of Photoshop, there's no reason not to consider GIMP for your photo and image manipulation needs. Sure, it's not quite as robust as the Adobe product, but it is free.

Leverage the technology

Bring out the Gimp

[WalterAM’s Web] I think I mentioned before that I want to do without non-free/open source applications (though I am on Windows but the less said about that…) and image manipulation was my big stumbling block because GIMP, The GNU Image Manipulation Program is so different from other software I have used that I was intimidated. But, I tried again and found that what I wanted to do (save and edit screenshots) was pretty easy.
