[Me And My Quirky Quarks.] my hair does that to vacuums, too. I started using the hose attachement first, to get all the hair, then the regular vacuum.

Flex RIA Photoshop Express launched today

[Serge Jespers] Photoshop Express offers a variety of creative sharing options, including uploading and showing off photos and slideshows in your own online “Gallery” hosted by Adobe, or conveniently embedding or linking photos to social networking sites and personal blogs without having to leave the application. Photoshop Online? Photoshop Express Beta - Now Online!

[Terry White's Tech Blog] Teens for example, usually don’t have an extra $600-$900 lying around to pop for Photoshop CS3 or Photoshop CS3 Extended. Sure there are cheaper versions such as the industry leading Adobe Photoshop Elements, but hey - these guys won’t even pay $90 for software.

Important Lightroom 1.4 and Camera Raw 4.4 Update

[Lightroom Journal] EXIF Time Stamp Error: There is an error in the EXIF time stamp update technology that causes Lightroom to believe that the files are out of sync with the correct time stamp as displayed in Lightroom. Any ensuing metadata update will attempt to incorrectly modify the EXIF time stamp in the original raw file itself. This is the only metadata field that Lightroom will write to an original proprietary raw file. This error will not impact the integrity of your image data.

Threaded text on path frames - Possible in InDesign?

[LAYERS Magazine Forums] Though it is good to see that there was not a simple command I was missing to do it the same way as in Illustrator. For the odd times you might do this in InDesign - depending upon size of circle and number of lines you have going around - it would be just as easy to simply edit the original word - going round each one.

InDesign CS3 Certification Exam News

This would allow design consultancies like Frog, or really anyone whose success is contingent on their presentations, to make their InDesign templates even more compelling.

find fonts issues in InDesign CS2

[LAYERS Magazine Forums] I just opened an older InDesign CS2 document in which I used postscript fonts, and this time 'round I want to use OpenType. So, I used Find Font to successfully replace some of them, but not all of them will change, nor will they show me the first instance.

Adding Adobe Captivate (SWF) movie clips to a PDF file

[I did not know Acrobat could do that] Also, embed the SWF file’s content into the PDF file, this makes it easier because the you only have to manage 1 file. If you do not embed the SWF, you have to attach the SWF to the PDF, and that’s for another Blog entry!
