[Ben Kevan's Blog] Furthering Adobe’s commitment to the Linux community and as part of ongoing efforts to ensure the cross-platform compatibility of Flash Player, an alpha refresh of 64-bit Adobe Flash Player 10 for Linux operating systems was released on December 8, 2009 and is available for download. This offers easier, native installation on 64-bit Linux distributions and removes the need for 32-bit emulation.

[kaourantin.net] kaourantin.net: Flash Player 8 for Linux update: simply not true, ive been able to make gorgeous flash-esque apps, both inside browser and standalone, using TCL and Ruby bindings to Cairo, Xara , and the FF Canvas, and i'd take those over JAVAscript (or ActionScript) any day...plus they run anywhere i want them to..unlike flash which has greeted me with a lovely green puzzle piece for the past couple of years :)

[BIT-101 Blog] Why people hate Flash. | BIT-101 Blog: A html/jquery site for a photography studio, a data visualization heavy stock market application in flex or an immersive video/papervison flash site are all solving the problems they set out too, which is the main thing. At least its exciting times no matter what platform you develop for, I mean regardless of which camp your in ( html/flash/silverlight ) there is some pretty awesome stuff out there on all platforms which I hope like me people appreciate the skill involved in building it.
