[Adobe Photoshop Forums] Re: Color shift printing from Lightroom 1.3: in LR which opens the Print Settings dialog. Select the options you need and the paper you're using.
[Untitled] Printing problems - wrong colors - Lightroom Forums: If I choose from the Lightroom main menu "File">"Print Settings" I get a dialog box where I can select the printer and some very basic settings like Paper (Size, Source) and Orientation (Portrait, Landscape).
[Untitled] The Little Photoshop - The UK's leading provider of Photoshop ...: Not that their is anything wrong with sRGB, its just that you will want to use a working colour space that has a wider more flexible colour gamut. I have suggested in the past that if you print purely on an inkjet printer in house then you can happily use sRGB but for the purposes of creating a flexible and consistent colour environment I would suggest using Adobe RGB 1998.
[Lightroom Forums] Setting up print workflow with Lightroom 2.0 and Epson Stylus ...: Adobe, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom (and derivatives) are either registered trademarks or trademarks of Adobe Systems Incorporated in the United States and/or other countries. Lightroom Forums is an independent Website not endorsed or sponsored by Adobe Systems Incorporated.
[Adobe Photoshop Forums] LR 1.4.1 Mac OS 10.5.5 HP B9180 print problem: After setting the profile and setting the paper type in the print dialog I now get really messed up colors on a print using the same profile I was using. As if the color management is being applied wrong.
[Untitled] RAW vs. JPEG: When you load a Raw file using Adobe Photoshop CS2 the Camera Raw dialog will automatically pop up. Most of the time the automatic settings are fairly decent, but you have the chance to change the white balance, exposure, contrast, saturation, and even calibration of the red, green, and blue guns or correct for lens abberation - all lossless.
[Untitled] Elements Color Management Settings - RetouchPRO: What I understand is that there will be no conversion (changing the R,G,B values) but the display will take the profile correctly into account during your edits while the profile stays tagged unchanged. I hope color management gurus will tell us more about this and correct me if I am wrong.
[Untitled] Photoshop Insider Blog By Scott Kelby » Blog Archive » Its “Guest ...: I realize many people don’t like (or don’t understand) Photoshop’s soft proofing, but it’s a valuable tool when you know how to use it to save both time and money (ink and paper in particular) and to optimize your image prior to the final print. Clearly, not everything can be soft proofed to a really high degree of accuracy (things like image detail and sharpening come to mind as well as paper texture) but from the standpoint of tone and color, Photoshop is really pretty darn good.
[Untitled] [FIX] Darker prints and color shifts when printing from LR2 ...: Apparently, although color management has been (allegedly) disabled in the driver, there's something wrong between LR and the driver which makes that both LR and the driver are still trying to manage colors. In other words, the "No Color Adjustements"
[Untitled] Lightroom Journal: Lightroom 2 Now Available: We are rushing product out to various retailers but demand is quite high right now, likely accounting for the unavailability in your region. Specifically, creating a specific Adobe-based store to serve Bermuda was probably decided by someone in the company to be less than cost effective, hence we rely on our retail partners to serve various locations.
[Untitled] Lightroom & HP B9180 | 8th Cross: I think this is a bug with one of the following - The OSX Print Driver, HP Printer driver or Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. (because, i have heard that this works perfectly on a Windoze machine) .To confirm, view the print summary section of the print settings dialog - and check out what profile was selected - It seems that either Lightroom never communicated back to the driver that i have selected a custom profile (not Managed by Printer) or the HP Print driver is reading this value from a cache or incorrectly, still thinks that Lightroom has selected the “Managed by Printer”
[Untitled] Color Calibration, Monitor Setup and Photoshop - RetouchPRO: This allows you to make final tweaks to color based upon how the image will print. If you do convert here, you do not need to do any color management within the print dialog.
[Untitled] Bug in print module in LR2. - Lightroom Forums: After I have once gone into the Print and then go back to Print Setup I can no longer choose Vendor Matching and have the same grayed out dialog under Color Matching. And off course the print is not correct this way with the double profiling that is going along.
[Untitled] Lightroom Journal: Lightroom 2 beta Available: You probably have gone over this, as I have read in one quick note you put up saying many discussions have already been had, but... If photoshop can use the 0-256 printers scale in 16 bit mode, then why can't Lightroom.
