[GoMediaZine] Flash, Floppy Disks & FreeHand: That is to say, if I build an app using Flash and Apple releases a new update to the iPhone OS which results in some aspect of Flash's compiler not working, Adobe better be damn fast to release a fix because if not, I damn well won't build my next app using Flash. Once again, it seems like this system is already in place in Apple's developer program: A notice of an upcoming release is sent to developers who can then start testing and updating their apps.
[Home Photo Corel] The Past and Future of CorelDRAW, Illustrator and FreeHand | Home ...: Perhaps most important of all, with its completely restyled interface - based on a much more streamlined and productive version of the docker palette system that CorelDRAW had pioneered - it is clear that FreeHand is definitely seen as an integral part of Macromedias long-term MX strategy. In particular its inclusion in the popular Macromedia Studio MX suite alongside Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash guarantees FreeHand an important role for those interested in producing work both for print (where the program is still a capable performer) but especially the Web.
[CNET News.com] Adobe's AIR 2: Faster, with better HTML | Deep Tech - CNET News: And it's not so much that I dislike people who have a cynical opinion about adobe, as it is that there have been a lot of people who have responded to luke-warm receptions of the iPhone 4 announcement with comments about how they haven't even tried it. It would be rather ironic for people with such a stance to dismiss Adobe AIR 2 (which the mindless ones are likely to do) after having said such a position is unreasonable with the iPhone 4.

Anyone has any problem like that and any solution?
[John Nack on Adobe] John Nack on Adobe: Absolute Power vs. the Pirate Flag: What I think is that Adobe right now is simply paying the price for its behavior of the past years: not improving the flash player and not fixing the CS apps because they felts in a secure position (being the player and the suite a de facto standard and/or products with no real competition). Now that they risk to lose their "monopoly" (forgive me for improper use of some words, english is not my language) they begin to work to improve the flash player (has it seems the case with the next release you are working on), now that their image as a quality company has begun to be obfuscated by critics from lots of Apple users (all the photoshop-bugs related sites, the critics to fireworks etc.) they begin to fix and improve (has seen on the news CS5).

[MacDailyNews] Indeeo releases iDraw drawing and illustration app for - MacDailyNews: Strangely enough I stopped using Freehand when it was bought by Macromedia who as Flash and Dreamweaver back up produced the worst most complicated and pc like interfaces imaginable. It soon became the opposite of the beautiful simple yet powerful interface it had in the Aldus days to the point I found Illustrator sadly a far better option though it still has not absorbed some of Freehand's superior aspects.
[Kelso's Corner] Freehand + Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard « Kelso's Corner: This was on thursday, I had 2 days working as normal in Freehand but this morning, following the weekend break (and obviously a shut down and re-start) Freehand now won’t open and if I try to open from a freehand file Fireworks is the default application. I have nearly 2 decades of backed up freehand files and would like to keep freehand alive if only to be able to access those files.
