Microsoft Photoshop

http://sinceretheory.net/weblog [ sinceretheory weblog] Frankly I’m not surprised this has happened earlier. When Adobe acquired Macromedia nearly two months ago, later it was mentioned that one of the reasons for doing such a thing was to keep them ineligible to be acquired by Microsoft. Apparently that has not stopped Redmond as they have officially announced they are entering the graphic design realm.

Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

[Microsoft.weblogsinc.com] Paying by the drink in Redmond - The Unofficial Microsoft Weblog ...: This would likely have significant impact on revenue projections for Microsoft, but more importantly, it could signal that MS recognizes that Utility Computing is going to be a dominant model for consuming computer resources in the future. Further, Microsoft likely wants to show their enterprise customers that they are flexible and willing to work with them.

The commission ordered Microsoft to sell the stripped-down version, potentially opening the door to alternative digital media players, but Microsoft says the order doesn't prevent it from offering both versions for the same price. Winplanet.com[Winplanet.com] Microsoft XP SP2 Blog Watch - WinPlanet Windows Software Reviews: In one item posted and removed in Tuesday, a Norwegian Microsoft manager published an e-mail from Redmond to partners detailing its distribution plans for the service pack. In a separate blog, a Microsoft developer explains how the team honed its vision for what Windows XP SP2 should encompass.
