 [Tech.moneycontrol.com] Moneycontrol Tech Blog > Microsoft Office 2007 to Exclude PDF: XPS is what Microsoft wants people to use for reliable exchange, and people will use this because it is there, probably will be better and since you don’t need to download a reader, it is the path of least rersistance - again, this is no fault of Adobe’s - this is a business decision to shut Adobe out of ofice users because PDF ‘is no longer required to excahnge documents as XPS is better - PDF is based on PostScript, which was invented, what, over 20 years ago ?
