[Walk in the park, look at the sky.] Analytics agent is a nice free Google analytics app for the iPhone but just how many fonts do you need in a UI? It hurts my eyes!

[Search Marketing Answers] » Why Google Analytics is flawed | Search Marketing Wisdom: To what degree and how accurately Google or WebLog Expert or any analytics and site visitor tracking program filters out the noise is anyone’s guess. But if you use multiple solutions that each handles things in it’s own way, you can at least get a much better handle on general trends.
[3arn.Net] 55 Surefire Ways To Make More Money With Google Adsense: Abdulrehman, I’ve actually tried to use this code on my Adsense, then I ask a net friend of mine try to visit my blog from the search engine and see is there any ads appear in my blog, the result is no ads, which mean traffic from search engine doesn’t see the ads.
[Subtraction] Subtraction.com: The Framework Formally Known as 'Prints: We were often asked to put together layouts in a couple of hours, and non-semantic classnames don’t hurt a darn thing. They may bother your asthetic sense (and mine too, for that matter), but they don’t actually hurt anything at all.
[graphpaper] graphpaper.com - User Research Smoke & Mirrors, Part 2: Research ...: Again, it is possible that, like chicken soup, eyetracking can’t hurt a redesign process (although, as I’ve said, grossly misinterpreted results are clearly a risk). But unless you are working with graphic designers with no talent whatsoever (and I will admit that most web sites seem to suffer from this predicament), it’s hard to believe that the recommendations of an eyetracking study would be a meaningful influence on a design process, much less form the very basis for the redesign.
[Microsoft and the Future] Fixes & Features To Consider : Windows Live Spaces Wave 3 ...: Very good list. With the seeming timeout for long comments or post revisions, I have been copying the text before clicking add. If it doesn't add, click cancel, leave the site, go somewhere else on Spaces briefly, and then come sneaking back to paste the comment in the text box. That has worked for me almost every time I get "the pink stripe." I would like Java too, but that would mean some unscrupulous person like me could get AdSense onto our Space. Keep up the good work. This is a great set of "suggestions" for the Live team.
[Usability Post] Experience vs. Function ” a Beautiful UI is Not Always the Best UI ...: rainwebs: I don’t think Hacker News is pretty and it can definitely be made clearer by increasing things like whitespace between each entry ” I’ve never said it was a good example of simple design :) It’s an example of something completely opposite of newspond ” a site with almost no UI design. My argument is that I would rather use the bare Hacker News UI over the intricately designed newspond one because the UI there is more transparent and lets me access the content faster.
[Comments for Occam's Razor by Avinash Kaushik] Six Tips For Improving High Bounce / Low Conversion Web Pages ...: I really like this blog post because of the use of things like fivesecondtest and Site Overlay / Heat Map, as well as real website examples that in the context of this post, can really benefit those site owners! I’m also still a big believer in Site Overlay, even though some of my colleagues / co-workers are not drinking the kool-aid anymore.
[Veerle's blog] The new Adobe icons and branding | Veerle's blog: What we had in the CS2 days were elaborate 3d-rendered icons for documents and things which looked nice at really huge views but reduced to little puddles of pixel mud at the small sizes. Arguably it's the 16px and maybe 32px icon view that are the most prevalent, so it's those sizes that we focused on in creating our technique for rendering the figures. The new bits look simple, and in contrast to the 3d-style work out there they are, but there's a lot of nuance to give them richness that scales to the larger sizes.
[Post-Click Marketing Blog] Mythbusting for landing pages - Post-Click Marketing Blog - ion ...: I don't want to hawk any vendors in your space, but at least one allows testing to occur with no changes to the Web site (just some magic with a UI configurator), so that kind of test might even be easier to set up than an A/B test, ....
