[All About WordPress] We need a WordPress MU guru who has expert knowledge to help us with review and analysis of our MU configuration of more than 150 mapped domains. We want to make sure we are counting traffic status accurately and are leveraging the configuration capabilities properly.

[Features] Leveraging Opportunities in Difficult Times: Merging Application ...: Much of the data used to support the analysis was refined from the City’s existing GIS inventories, which helped to effectively integrate the outcomes across several business areas such as Planning, Transportation, and Environmental Services. Beyond those standard datasets, the original task of developing a comprehensive land use database was re-evaluated and evolved into a sub-task, which called for extensive field-checking to validate the current land use layer and update as necessary.

[PSHERO] PSHERO | Photoshop Tutorials | Selective Focus and Tilt-Shift: Since we’ve already blurred this layer and added a layer mask, there is no need to do all that again, so lets simply press Command-Backspace (PC: Ctrl-Delete) to fill the layer mask with white again. Notice that everything is blurry again because the layer mask is completely white and thus everything on this layer is visible.

[Issues for all projects] Missing Critical Blog Functionality | drupal.org: Critically, however, I think that Drupal will not be able to compete with WordPress/WordPress MU (which are merging code base) as an advanced blogging platform unless there is a system in place where people can create a new blog and then they have control over an entire subdomain or subdirectory of the site. That is, users with the appropriate permission should be able to click a "create blog" link, and then, after a confirmation screen, be taken to an admin interface where they have access to the functional equivalent of admin/users, admin/themes, admin/modules, admin/blocks, etc.

[The Smoking Musket] Chuck Landon And Marshall University Can Go Play With Themselves ...: I never once heard that MU and WVU should be playing….I never read or heard anyone say Marshall could beat WVU….not once…..but when I came home….all I heard was trash talk….Marshall thinks they can beat WVU…Marshall is Community College…blah blah blah……well I dont know who would have won the games….I know that from 1997 until 2002 MU put a lot of players in the NFL…they had talent….MU historically has had problems with BCS schools because of the depth….MU was really lucky from 96 until 2002 they had no injuries at all…..not a single one that affected them the least bit….which was miraculous. Actually I get more trash talk from Fairmont State folks more than anyone…..which I find hilarious…because, from 1969 until 1980 Fairmont State tried…and tried….and tried to play WVU in basketball….WVU wouldnt even scrimage them…..partly because…Fairmont State would have beat them….ask anyone old enough to remember…..oh yeah and Fairmont State had actual West Virgians on their squad…(much like the MU squads through the 90’s and into 2000…until recently)…WVU folks dont like to hear that….and WVU wont even sponsor any…none….Fairmont State graduate programs….you know who is sponsoring …them?

[Ross Mayfield's Weblog] Ross Mayfield's Weblog: CTC Keynote: Thomas Malone: Lower communication costs mean many people have enough information to make decisions for themselves.  But, just because it is possible, doesn't mean it will happen -- what drives these changes is what people want. People use their freedom to get more of what they want.

[1. MajorityRights.com (main blog)] The Immigration Industry tacks into the wind: Point No.2 above is often ignored, whilst No.1 is stressed - but as the theory goes both are of equal relevance. The point about uncontrolled low-skilled immigration hinges on (2) more than (1), as (2) is the real nation-wrecker, the real genesis of the Darwinian cock-fight to the death in which the weaker ethny (alas, excuse me for making the obvious and heavy-handed hint to self-reflect), literally has eyes torn out with shapened spurs, has its heart and lungs pierced by kicks and its entrails ripped out and spread on the harsh unforgiving sawdust, the blood coagulating in the heat of an indifferent sun.And the carcass is thrown to the mangy dogs to devour for good measure.

[WE Blog] Obama waffling on Iraq pullout? | WE Blog | Wichita Eagle Blogs: Then, channeling Abraham Lincoln, Reinhold Niebuhr, and Isaiah Berlin, Brooks expostulates about Obama as a man with a tragic sense of life and acute powers of observation–relying chiefly, like the Globe, on Obama’s semi-fictional memoir. Brooks offers nothing about politics and knowledge and positions: it’s all about personality, character, and attitude–or what Brooks whips up about Obama’s personality, character, and attitude.”

[Avinash Meetoo: Blog] Avinash Meetoo: Blog » What is the fair use policy?: Furthermore i agree with Ketwaroo on comment 121, the price is way too high and if i had the choice (and im sure its not restricted to me alone), i would have shifted for the unlimited connection one… We all are at some point in time heavy downloaders, may it be in term of leaching, sharing or streaming contents (remember, today ppl want better quality for their streams, even if its free :P…as a matter of fact, standard quality is already good and you pay for better, both imply higher bandwidth) and if they really want us to be a cyber island with most of the ppl connected to the net, they better take the price down….i mean, its not like you download 24/7, remember, we pay for electricity as well and it aint cheap….what the use of having a mighty connection of unlimited bandwidth if you have to shutdown your pc at times…They should have realised that by now that even the heavy downloaders will stop at times….
